VBI View Interface can be linked within separate third party Portals like SharePoint or SAP Enterprise Portals. If you are using an existing Intranet portal or Public portals then VBI-View can be integrated into it along with Windows Single Sign-On as a separate Page or a link.

The Single Sign-on should be setup in Portal and the VBI View for seamless Authentication. The VBI View URL can be embedded into the portal as an Iframe or a Web Frame or simply can be provided as a link to open in a new Tab. Let us see how we can integrate VBI View with Microsoft SharePoint and SAP Enterprise Portal.
Integrating VBI View with SharePoint
VBI View can be integrated into SharePoint by using Web Part. The Web Part can be added to the existing page with the fixed template or into a new full page that looks like part of the Portal. The UI of VBI View is responsive to fit into the page of the portal giving a seamless integration within the page.

Click on Add a Web Part to add the Web Part. In the Category select Media and Content and select Page Viewer Part which will enable VBI View page to be displayed in an iframe.

You can customize the URL of the VBI View page and also the Layout and Appearance from the tools pane of the Web Part. Enter the URL and click on Apply to display VBI View in the SharePoint page.
Once the users open the page, they are taken into the VBI View directly into the page without asking for any secondary login and can be integrated seamlessly.

Integrating VBI View with SAP Enterprise Portal
The URL iView can be used to embed VBI View into a Portal page. You can create an iView and provide the URL of the VBI View. You can customize the page and create the iView in the existing pages.

When the users opens the page in the Portal, The VBI View is displayed automatically using Single Sign-on

By using VBI View, Users can get the best of both worlds and can consume VBI View through their existing Portal Solutions and browse and find reports from multiple BI Platforms.
